Unless we were somehow able to find a veritable Leonardo da Vinci of
multilingual communication or technical translation, we just have to
face it: the more complex the task, the greater the number of
competencies required. The odds that such competencies could be found
in one person or even in one organisation are very low.
The key to ensuring quality is creating, motivating and maintaining
interdepartmental or interorganisational teams. Managing knowledge
workers and specialist calls for more than just management skills –
leadership is a trait we value highly in our organisation, especially
the ability to motivate and inspire others.
