It is not merely a matter of what is being communicated to whom in a constantly changing environment. The real challenge lies in how to simultaneously manage interorganisational information and learning processes to ensure that the right competencies have access to and are able to use the right information at the right time, and in the right tone -  all the time.

Futhermore, the aspect of interorganisational memory is highlighted in an environment where work and learning is project-based and production processes cross several organisational borders during a project.
