We practice continuous learning and knowledge management in our daily
work. Our organisational and interorganisational memories are among our
greatest assets. In addition to traditional infrastructures, we work

project ecologies, thus enabling team members, specialists, project
managers and clients to fully exploit the knowledge acquired in
previous projects.
IT technologies have revolutionised the way we process, store,
translate and maintain texts. CAT technology, terminology management
systems and CMS has speeded up the entire process, from the initial
thought to the final publishing, at the same time as outsourcing has
increased across the board.
However, as tools get more sophisticated and value chains longer, gaps
in knowledge seem to widen and the distance between initiator,
intermediary and target audience grows even bigger.
We believe that these knowledge gaps can be overcome by making the
textual production processes more transparent and by integrating the
communications processes.
Processes
Managing value-added, knowledge-intensive processes is not just about
using technology to let less people to process more words faster, or
finding new and faster ways to pull apart and put back together
information. It is about establishing a common foundation on which to
build.
Quality
It is a well-known fact that one key to quality in multilingual
communications, translation and other professional services is close
co-operation between long-term partners. There are a number of studies
